Dyslipidaemia
Dyslipidaemia is a medical condition characterized by abnormal levels of lipids (fats) in the blood. This imbalance typically involves elevated levels of total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C or "bad" cholesterol), triglycerides, or a decrease in high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C or "good" cholesterol). Dyslipidaemia is a major risk factor for the development of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular diseases, including coronary artery disease.
